If you need one for office work – or even just for gaming on your computer – the M3 Wireless Mouse works in both worlds to provide the best user experience.

The Keychron M3 Wireless Mouse offers a lot in its lightweight body – from color customization to DPI control – and no matter what you use it for, it’ll be able to handle whatever you throw at it.

Keychron M3 Wireless Mouse Design

The Keychron M3 Wireless Mouse weighs 79 grams and supports a curved ergonomic design that provides a comfortable grip to be held by your thumb and ring finger while using it. The mouse is comfortable to hold and your hand does not cramp after using the mouse for extended periods.

On the left side of the mouse – with your thumb – there are two buttons. While the user manual does not explicitly detail what these buttons can be used for, it was found that when working on a Mac, clicking a link with one of the two buttons opens it in a separate tab. Will open.

The buttons can be customized with RGB lights in the KeyCron engine, but this is currently only available on PC. The Mac version of the app is expected to arrive in June.

There are three different buttons on the bottom of the M3 Wireless Mouse that help in customizing and controlling the mouse.

The DPI control on the left side of the mouse allows you to set how fast and how fast you want the cursor to move across the screen. There are five settings to choose from – starting at 500dpi all the way up to 26,000dpi. If you control the mouse over Bluetooth, you’re capped at 5,000 DPI.

The switch in the middle controls how the mouse connects to your computer and how to turn the M3 Wireless Mouse on and off. For example, switching it to “G” will indicate that you are using a wired connection, switching it to “Off” will turn off the mouse, and changing it to “B” will indicate that you are using a wireless connection. are using it.

You get two receivers in the box, one USB-A compatible and the other USB-C compatible. The USB-A Input Adapter also includes an adapter and a USB-C input.

The wireless option ships with Bluetooth 5.1 and offers 2.4GHz frequency. The mouse also has a 1000Hz polling rate.

The M3 Wireless Mouse uses the PAW3395 mouse sensor chip to deliver up to 650 IPS. While using the mouse, it shows low latency and fluid motion without any lag.

The center scroll wheel was also quick to respond and quiet when in use, but it’s not the best we’ve encountered. However, the mouse still provides an adequate scrolling experience.

You can charge the M3 Wireless Mouse with the USB-C port on its top and with the very long and highly flexible USB-C to USB-C braided charging cord in the box. Unfortunately, the charging cable was flimsy and felt more like a shoelace than a wire.

Multiple customizations in a lightweight design

The Keychron M3 Wireless Mouse is a great mouse that offers easy-to-modify customizations and has low latency over Bluetooth.

Two modes to choose from – wired and wireless – make it an excellent option for those who either want to have all their accessories wireless or who don’t want to rely on a Bluetooth connection to use the mouse.

If you use Bluetooth, you’ll be satisfied. The connection was strong when using the M3 Wireless Mouse, the scrolling and movement of the cursor was fluid, and the pairing process was easy and quick.

Having easily accessible buttons on the bottom of the mouse to set the DPI and report rate makes accessing and fine-tuning the mouse’s settings faster and less hassle in doing so.

The only downside to the mouse is that you can only connect it to one device at a time and the Keycron engine is currently only available on PC.

Other mice can connect to multiple devices at once—and be switched via designated buttons on the device—but the M3 Wireless Mouse doesn’t currently support this feature. This would be a great use for the side buttons already incorporated into the mouse’s design.

If you are looking for a suitable one for office work and gaming then the Keycron M3 Wireless Mouse will fulfill your computer mouse needs. Latency is low, scrolling is smooth, and current optimization and pairing is fast and straightforward. The colored stripe around the lightweight body and next to the scroll wheel also gives the mouse a layer of personalization which is nice.

If you need a good mouse that offers a long lifecycle, consider checking out and adding the Keychron M3 Wireless Mouse to your office setup. It offers the best of both worlds for work and entertainment use.
